Know Your Space

This is most important! Make sure you have the correct environment for your plant to ensure it thrives. Plants do not enjoy being constantly relocated.

Watering-Less is More

Overwatering is the number one way to kill a houseplant. If your are uncertain, always err on the side of less frequent watering, as most houseplants will recover from too little water but not too much.

Light is Necessary

All indoor plants will need sufficient light to thrive. While some plants can tolerate low light and artificial light, very few plants will tolerate no light or bright scorching light.

Repot Infrequently

House plants do not require regular repotting. When repotting we always recommend a pot with a drainage hole for best results and sizing up to a planter that is only 5-7cm larger than the plants previous pot.

Adjust Seasonally

Most plants go through an active growing period during Spring and Summer—during this time they will require more water and more attention. Most plants require less water during Fall and Winter because they receive less light.
