General Care Instructions

Light: Found naturally in lightly wooded tropical areas, Asplenium plants grow in moisture-rich areas closer to or on the ground and as such prefer shaded areas. To care for Asplenium as a houseplant, place it in an area with bright indirect light. This plant can tolerate low light but will not thrive. Too much light, or direct light will scorch your plant.

Water: Asplenium’s prefer evenly moist surroundings. Never allow the soil to become dry to the touch. However, take care not to allow the plant to sit in water as this can lead to root rot. Water from the edge and not in the centre of the plant.

Notes: This plant does well grouped with similar fern plants and/or orchid plants. Asplenium will thrive in a high humidity location such as a bathroom that has sufficient light throughout the day.
