General Care Instructions:
Light: Aspidistra can tolerate medium to low light levels. Do not place this plant in direct sunlight.
Water: Allow the top soil to dry before watering but do not let the potting medium to go completely dry. Infrequent watering (about once a week) is ideal for this plant. The plant will not tolerate overwatered soil. If the plant is in a low light area it may require much less water. Overwatering will cause the leaves to turn yellow.
Notes: This is a slow growing plant and may only produce a couple of leaves annually.
